ご家庭での学習にとてもいい教材です。
また、数や色などの基礎的な単語や、自然な単語の使い方など学ぶことができます。

Recently, I shared a video blog about English resources online for improving your listening skills. Did you watch it? If you check out any of the links, please let me know! I’m interested in hearing what you thought!
One thing I realized, however, was that all the websites and youtube channels I recommended were for adults. But what about kids and parents? That’s why today, I’d like to introduce you to my favorite resource for kids. It’s a youtube channel called,
That’s a funny name, right? Their mascot is really funny, too!
If you want to practice English at home with your family, these videos and songs are great! The music and animation are very high-quality, and many of the videos include subtitles so parents and kids can sing along. The topics include basic vocabulary like numbers, colors, nouns, and verbs, and teach kids how to use the words in natural context. They are appropriate for preschool, kindergarten, and early elementary kids.
Music is a good tool for learning because we can practice pronunciation and fluency, and it’s repetitive. Kids (and adults!) love listening to the same songs again and again.
My favorite video from The Singing Walrus is the Clean Up Song.
I often sing it at home when I’m doing housework…Even though I’m not really a kid anymore! When that happens, we usually say in English,

That means we can’t stop thinking about or singing a particular song. Sometimes it makes us feel irritated, but with the Singing Walrus, I can promise you will have many good songs stuck in your head!
