Use it or lose it!<\/p>\n
This means we need to practice our skills regularly. If we don\u2019t, we\u2019re likely to forget them.\u00a0The same is true with new words, common phrases, and speaking skills.<\/p>\n

I like to cook. I like to make stained glass. I like to watch adventure movies with my family. I like to grow vegetables and herbs in my garden. I like to go shopping at the mall on my days off.<\/p>\n
I like to do many things, and I can express all of them using one simple phrase! If you can memorize common sentence starters, it will reduce the time you spend translating in your head. Here are some good examples of phrases you shouldn\u2019t have to think about:<\/p>\n

Even if you are not a confident speaker, you should start to answer as soon as possible. It shows the other person that you want to communicate and are trying your best. You can do this by practicing common question and answer patterns together!<\/p>\n
